Item details below
- Exterior compartments latched/locked
Those doors flapping around won’t make your Ekko fly.
- Windows shut/locked
Because Ekko windows are most definitely not highway rated.
- Awning in
Unless you -really- want to entertain passersby.
- Starlink stowed
In tree v. Dishy, I’m betting on the tree.
- Power/water lines disconnected/stowed
Tearing the fixtures out from the building you were connected to is considered bad etiquette.
- Propane valves shut
Be considerate. An exploding RV will cause a traffic jam.
- Truma off at exterior switch
See above.
- Stairs in
Yeah, it’s automatic. Until it isn’t.
- Exterior & awning lights off
Unless you’re going for that rolling disco look.
- Check rear tires for rocks, etc.
It’s called windshield Karma.
- Check tire pressure
Air is free. Gasoline is not.
- Coach cabinets/drawers closed/latched
It’s messy when the contents of a cabinet avalanches onto the floor. Don’t ask how we know this.
- Secure dishes, glassware
It was funny when Lucille Ball smashed them. She didn’t have to clean up the mess.
- Shower door secure
That thing just loves to swing.
- Stow open containers
Your bedding décor is not enhanced by a big wet soda spot.
- Fridge settings
Cold beer is happy beer.
- Inverter off at interior control panel
Unless you’re one of those devil-may-care-run-the-AC-all-the-time peeps.
- Lagun table stowed
You don’t want to be the object that stops that thing flying at 70 mph.
- Maxxair fan closed
Unless you like Extraneous Wind Noise. (There’s a good name for a rock band.)
- Office equipment stowed
You’re gonna need that big monitor to watch Netflix later.
- Paper towel roll battened down
Unless you’re amused by a paper towel roll that resembles a CVS receipt.
- Toilet empty
If it’s water, it’s a mess. If it’s something else, it’s a disaster.
- Truma off at thermostat
It’s German. It’s unhappy when its little world is uneven.
- Water pump off
The little Dutch boy riding in the back has 10 fingers. What happens on the 11th leak?
- Coach battery on
Did we mention cold beer is happy beer?
- Interior lights off
Until you need light to clean up the avalanche of crap that’s fallen out of the cabinets.
- Cab mirrors correct
Unless you’re going down the highway in reverse so you can use the rear-view camera.
- Check overhead clearance/trees etc.
In Ekko v. railroad bridge, I’m betting on the railroad bridge.
- Engine in ECO mode
Because gasoline is a gazillion dollars a gallon.
- EZPass
Unless there’s cash in the avalanche of crap that’s fallen out of the cabinets.
